Time To Give A True Sound
For the past few months God has been speaking to my heart about this scripture:
1 Corinthians 14:8 - For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound,
who shall prepare himself to the battle?
The Lord began to show me what makes the difference between a certain sound and an uncertain sound, and what is the effect of each. When we make an unsure sound nobody is interested in what we have to say. That is the difference between a great and a lousy salesman. If he believes in, and stands by his product he can really sell it to anyone. He has conviction behind it, but if he is just mouthing the words that someone told him to say, and really either doesn’t know about the product, or dislikes the product, it will be reflected in his voice, he will come across as a flim-flam man, no substance behind his presentation, like a shady used car salesman.
Then God showed me why we are so moved when certain people sing, like Paul Potts that was on Britain's Got Talent. Check out this link:

It doesn’t matter if the person is pretty, polished, well known, or nobody anybody ever heard of, if he gives a true confident sound he will move the people’s hearts, just like Paul Potts did in this video. Barbara Streisand has such a voice, Dion Warwick, John Denver, and many more. Their voices are so perfect and true that even if you don’t like the person, you are moved by their voices.
The time has come for the church to make a true sound, like the sound of the trumpet that rallies the forces to war. How can we ever expect anyone to want what we have when we are uncertain of what we have. It is time for the church to know who we are and what we stand for. It is time to rally the troops. It is time we declare and proclaim His word. If He said it, we can stand on it. We can declare it with perfect confidence that what He says, He will do. Why do we doubt? Why do we make an uncertain sound. Do we really believe what God’s word says, or don’t we. Now is the time to find out because our time has come to impact the world around us.We will never do that if we make an uncertain sound.
We can only come into that kind of confidence that rallies the troops by having a intimate relationship with the Word of life. We can only speak with boldness if we are connected to the One Who alone is total boldness. If He says we are healed by the stripes that He bore, do we really believe it? Do we really believe we will do even greater works than He did, as He said?
Do we really believe that we are seating in heavenly places in Christ Jesus,
and that we have complete access to the Father? Do we really? Do we really believe we can call the things that are not as though they were? Do we?
God has shown me that He is raising up a people who are not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, who will not compromise it, or soft soap it to be politically correct, but will stand on it as a sure foundation, because that is what it is. There is a people who know what they believe and are a bold as lions. This people will take the land, be restorers of the breaches, bind up wounds, heal the sick, raise the dead, and kindle the fire of God in the earth, but they won’t do it by being mamby pamby. They will do it because they know in Whom they have believed, the word of God, and His promises. They will be willing to die rather than move off what is certain to them. These followers of the Great Shepherd will take Him at His word, and He will confirm His word with signs following. He will stretch out His holy hand to heal through them.
It is time to make a certain sure sound, to muster the troops. A sure sound that the lost can hear. We can only do this when it is all of life. It is not something we do, but something we are. When you listen to Paul Potts you know that this sound came from somewhere deep down in what he is in essence. That is what makes the difference between winners and losers in the world, how much more in the body of Christ. Winning golfers swing with confidence, a perfect baseball pitcher knows his ability, and is confident he has what it takes to get the job done. Are we certain of what is coming out of our mouths? Is it rhema - a God word - to us, straight to our heart by way of revelation, or something we are just mouthing because we heard someone else mouth it. It is time to get real with God, to make a true sound, and God will give us the heathen for an inheritance. We are privileged to be called into to the kingdom for such a time as this. Let’s get real, and make a true sound, if we don’t, nobody else will come. The fields are white unto harvest and we are the harvesters. Speak the word of God with surety and signs will follow.

Kathy, this is great and bears such witness with my soul. I thank you for sharing and teaching this powerful Word. Praise God!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you were blessed by it Jmac Mama, so was I. When we stand up and refused to moved off what the word says we will turn the world upside down once again. Now is the time. Blessings and peace to you. Be all He has called you to be. Do not fear their faces. Be as wise as a serpent, and as harmless as a dove. Love at all times. Do not be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ because it is the power of God to us who believe. You have been called into the kingdom for such a time as this. God is raising up His warriors who will not back off or seek their own way. They hold none of themselves for the themselves, but live poured out lives. Be one of those. In Him, Kathy Clark
